TRAINING
D.N. Security Services philosophy has always been to train and retain the best people in the marketplace. D.N. Security Services has and always will provide some of the highest standards in training.
Our training division has extensive experience in training new recruits as well as seasoned officers. Our training programs include general subjects as well as specialized subjects as it relates to our industry. Our training is designed to enhance any client’s existing program, and to keep them abreast of future security issues.
Our state compliant security officers must complete a rigorous in-house training program. We cover the important primary aspects of the security operations in the
field.
The extensive screening process which D.N. candidates must go through is necessary to match the most suitable candidate for each specific assignment.
On July 1st 2004 Assembly Bill (AB) 2880 became law which increased the requirements for security training to 40 hours. 8 hours prior to being assigned to a post, 16 hours within the first month and 16 hours within the first 6 months. It also added 8 hours of continued training each year. The officer must have a passing score of 80% on each course examination. If the required training is not completed within the set time frame his/her security guard license is subject to revocation, suspension and/or fine by the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services.
Our state compliant security officers must complete a rigorous in-house training program. We cover the important primary aspects of the security operations in the field.
